EA über das Assimilieren

Bevor das hier noch zu einem Videoblog ausartet, mal wieder was zum Lesen (und Aufregen): Blake Jorgensen, Chief Financial Officer von EA, reflektiert die Assimilierungspolitik seiner Firma:

"[We're also] always looking at potential acquisitions. Our history obviously with acquisitions has been spotty at best, so I would say there is an extra level of caution around that," he said. "We also believe we have the ability to do it ourselves in many cases, or hire people to do it. So we're careful about acquisitions. But we're going to continue to look for those opportunities and having a strong base globally allows us to be able to do that."

Wie blanker Hohn liest sich diese Aussage: 12 Jahre nach dem Niederbrennen von Westwood, 7 Jahre nach der ach-so-ernstgemeinten Selbstläuterung, 2-fache schlechteste Firma Amerikas in Folge und dutzende weitere Übernahmen später fällt dem als einziges "spotty acquisitions" ein?! :wall:

Genau so "spotty" ist meine Meinung über EA. Nicht. :easucks:
