Völlig an mir vorbei gegangen war die Ankündigung eines Remasters von Deus Ex aus dem Jahr 2000. Produziert wird es von Aspyr, dem Studio hinter den beiden Tomb Raider Remaster Trilogien. Erscheinen soll es am 05.02.2026 mit diesen Features:

Reimagined lighting, dynamic shadows, water physics, particle effects, and fully updated textures breathe new life into the dystopia.
Brand-new character models with smoother lip-sync animations and ragdoll physics to complete the transformation
Quality-of-Life Enhancements: Autosaves, faster loading, achievement tracking, and cloud saves across supported platforms.
Controller Support: Refined radial menus, fluid weapon management, and streamlined navigation, all adapted for modern controllers.
Multi-Screen Support: 4K-ready UI, ultrawide and multi-monitor display support.

Kritik wird geäußert, dass Nightdive die wohl bessere Wahl gewesen wäre. Gerade bei so einem zeitlosen Klassiker wie Deux Ex kann man dem wohl zustimmen.
