Die Infohäppchen tröpfeln vor sich hin; so soll es insgesamt 11 neue Einheiten geben und die Yuriko-Kampagne gänzlich von den anderen unterscheiden. So gibt es kein Basen- oder Einheitenbau, statt dessen "Diablo" Gameplay:

We were told that as her campaign continues Yuriko will fight larger and larger foes, and she will also learn more powerful skills through an ability tree. Considering different style of gameplay and emphasis on a single unit for combat, it should be interesting to see how the full campaign plays out beyond the starting areas we were shown.

Instead of featuring base building and unit production, Yuriko's story campaign seems to play more like Diablo than a real-time strategy game. For the opening section we saw where Yuriko was breaking out of a holding facility and she was the only controllable character. By running around the area and accessing power-up nodes she could learn new powers that were set in an ability hotbar at the screen's bottom. Her basic attack involved telekinetically lifting and damaging enemies, but she could also blast out novas of psychic energy, mind control nearby troops, and target, lift, and toss objects.

When mind controlled, the targeted troops still can't be directed. Instead they just run around alongside Yuriko and auto-attack anything that gets near. On her way through the holding facility Yuriko ran into numerous guards, but also fought machines like the new Steel Ronin unit, a walker with a glowing polearm weapon. With her telekinetic ability she could pick up tables and beds littered around environments and toss them at enemies or lift debris from doorways to access different parts of the map. The final ability we saw in the demo was a personal shield, which when active rendered Yuriko invulnerable and reflected incoming fire.
