Crysis 2 Beta leaked! *Update*

Es machen Berichte und Screenshots die Runde, dass eine fast fertige Version von Crysis 2 geleakt wurde: Singleplayer, Multiplayer, alle Zwischensequenzen, CryENGINE 3 Editor und sogar der Masterkey zur Online-DRM-Authentifizierung (!) soll dabei sein. Ein Torrent ist bereits bei The Pirate Bay aufgetaucht, er kommt auf satte 9,2 GiB.

This is the full version, but an early build, leaked to the network. You can run any level, there are rollers, etc. But it is visible that the beta – some of the inscriptions are not final, etc.

Crysis 2 soll(te) am 24. März erscheinen.

Update: Der Leak wurde inzwischen von EA bestätigt:

Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development and promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the series’ signature Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion. Piracy continues to damage the PC packaged goods market and the PC development community.

Update 2: Scheinbar ist der Torrent bei The Pirate Bay ein Fake: Die crysis2.iso enthält wohl nur StarCraft 2. Dies ist noch unbestätigt; es wäre schön wenn jemand genaueres weiss und einen Kommentar hinterlässt. Ansonsten dürfte man mit Crysis.2.MULTi5.BETA-iND auf der sicheren Seite sein.
