Es bleibt unklar, was mit einer Quake "revitalized edition" gemeint sein könnte. MachineGames und Quake hingegen sind keine unbekannten, hatte das Wolfenstein-Studio doch bereits 2016 eine Episode 5 namens Dimensions of the Past zum 20. Jubiläum veröffentlicht. Allerdings dürfte man aktuell schwer mit Indiana Jones beschäftigt sein und ein Wolfenstein 3 soll ja auch noch anstehen.
