Ich fasse mal zusammen, die Quellen findest ihr unter Weiterlesen:

1) George bereitet ein offizielle Statement vor.
2) Der Server für die Website ist wieder abgestürzt wegen des andauernden Ansturms.
3) Es ist kein Marketing Trick, auch wenn viele daran glauben (wollen).
4) Sämtliche Domains wurden als ersten Schritt zur Auflösung von 3DR gekündigt. Domains wie 3drealms.net/.org/.biz/.info, dukenukemforever.com/.org/, dukenukem.com/.net/.org, ... Nur noch 3drealms.com, apogeesoftware.com und buy3drealms.com funktionieren noch von ehemals 125.
5) Joe ist ziemlich aufgewühlt und macht sich Sorgen um seine Zukunft, sowie sein ungeborenes Kind, welches in drei Wochen zur Welt kommt. DNF sei "nur ein Spiel".
Sein letztes Gehalt bekommt er nächste Woche Freitag.
6) Spenden scheinen hoffnungslos, da sie einen Arsch-voll von legalen Problemen bereiten und eh nicht ausreichen würden.
7) Nur weil keine internen Rettungsversuche bekannt sind, heißt das nicht, das keine unternommen wurden. Scheinbar ließ sich aber keine Lösung finden...
8) Es ist nachwievor kein virales Marketing. Joe hat auch kein Verständnis für ein "Recht" auf Screenshots, wenn er seine Familie nicht versorgen kann.

Inzwischen sind allerdings eine Menge Screenshots aufgetaucht als Portfolio der nun arbeitslosen Artists. Dazu später mehr...

You think you're the only one? I've asked George to do that a few times. It will come, but I think he wants to think it through and get the statement right before he says something. He'll get one shot I think to say something like that, then it will be interpreted as people want to believe, so it's got to be worded the right way.

I'm guessing the same server issue that crashed it the night before crashed it again. Won't be able to fix it until we get back to the office in the morning.

Stop that. It is not. Getting tired of seeing this.

Yup. That was the first stage. Only 3drealms.com, apogeesoftware.com, & buy3drealms.com still work from our domain pool, which was over 125.

I could barely sleep last night worrying about where my paychecks will come from after the final one I get in a week. I could barely sleep worrying that I will be able to be successful in a replacement job. I could barely sleep knowing that I have a baby coming in three weeks right after I cease getting paid. DON'T DO THIS TO ME BY WHINING ABOUT A GAME. Some of us have REAL MAJOR life problems. It's just a game. Who cares? My life and my family are at risk. Don't insult me.

I don't have a choice. When your employer says, "That's it, no more paychecks", how do you stay? I need a paycheck for my family and my house and all that.

There's an assload of legal problems with something like that. Besides, I doubt you guys could raise enough dough in time - even assuming we'd be legally allowed to do that.

Why do people assume these options weren't explored? What puzzles me is people think these things didn't happen, because they didn't hear about them. While I'm not going into details, most people seem to be operating under the assumption of "Well, we're going out of business, we weren't trying to fix it before the announcement, so let's not try anything". Come on...

I told you so is easy to ignore. The twonks who are going on about how it's a media viral thing is just dumb. But those who go on about their "RIGHT" to get screenshots being somehow more important about how I'm gonna feed my family, and in a few weeks unborn baby? No, I have no f'in patience for that at all. They can stuff it in that case.
