Es ist soweit! Erste richtige Infos von Quake 4 sind raus:
Story continues after the events of quake 2
Multiplayer picks up where quake 3 left off (their words not mine, I think it means the same style)
full range of Vehicles
many of the original creatures return

"Some of the classic weapons of quake 2 are coming back. Weapons like the blaster(with flashlight). shotgun, machine gun and even the nail gun. We've even gone through each weapon to make sure its been updated and polished to be just right. But we've also added some new firepower for you to take into battle" Eric Biessman. "Lets just say were staying true to the quake series and making sure the weapons really shine"
"You can read in the screenshots some hints of what this could mean: squads of marines fighting waves of hideous gladiators, dogfights in the skies over Stroggos... Looks like we will see how well the doom3 engine can do outdoors

-Grosse Anzahl an Fahrzeugen
-Sehr viele Gegner aus Quake 2 kommen wieder
-Es wird ein schnelles Kampfspiel, kein Angstshooter wie Doom 3
-Quake 4 stützt sich auf Sci-Fi und Horror Bücher, Comics, Anime und Filme, um eine beklemmende Alienwelt zu erzeugen
-Original Quake 2 Waffen kommen wieder, wie Blaster mit Taschenlampe, Shotgun, Maschinengewehr und die Nailgun!
-Neben den Originalwaffen werden auch ganz neue kommen
-Quake 4 wird Massenschlachten wie Call Of Duty bieten: Marine-Squads gegen Gladiatoren oder Dogfights am Himmel über Stroggos!
-Quake 4 wird wesentlich viel mehr Aussenlandschaften haben als Doom 3
-Quake 4 wird eine Mischung aus Quake 2 (SP), Quake 3 (MP), Call Of Duty (Massenschlachten) und Halo (Fahrzeuge)!
